27 Mar Construction at Tryon Village Underway

Centrex Properties is proud to announce the commencement of construction for our new 8,708 square foot building in the Tryon Village Shopping Center. Tryon Village, anchored by Harris Teeter, is located at the intersection of Tryon Road and Walnut Street in Cary. The new building sits at the southwest end of the current center and further enhances the existing 103,000 square feet of retail, restaurant, and service opportunities that the community already enjoys at Tryon Village.

North Carolina Eye, Ear, Nose & Throat  (NCEENT) will be the first tenant to move into 6,966 SF of the new building. NCEENT offers Ophthalmology, and Otolaryngology care for patients and they are also active in medical research and the training of new physicians.

NCEENT has five offices in North Carolina. Their main office is a 35,000 square foot state of the art medical office building designed for patient comfort and convenience in Durham, NC. They also serve patients in locations in Chapel Hill, Roxboro, and South Durham. The new location at Tryon Village will be a relocation of their current office in Cary on SE Cary Parkway.  NCEENT  is slated to open during fourth quarter, 2017.  The Tryon Village location will provide patients with a full range of their services, along with a complete optical center.

There is only one unit remaining in the new building at Tryon Village. The space is 1,742 square feet and features an outside patio, perfect for restaurant use.  Centrex will continue pre-leasing efforts at Tryon Village Shopping Center for the remaining 22,000 square feet of retail space.

21 Feb Spotlight on Lexington, SC’s Hendrix Crossing

Over the past few years Lexington, South Carolina has seen strong economic growth. It is currently the 4th fastest growing municipality in the state, and the retailers at Hendrix Crossing are enjoying the growth.

Located at US Hwy 378 & Charter Oak Drive, the Hendrix Crossing retail center serves the high demographic area of Lake Murray, one of the Midland’s most desirable residential areas as well as Lexington.

Publix Super Market, who was listed as one of the top 20 largest employers in Lexington by the SC Department of Employment and Workforce anchors the Hendrix Crossing retail center. The Florida-based supermarket chain has 57 stores in the state of South Carolina alone with 1,143 stores nationwide.

Publix is a huge draw for the retail center’s other tenants which include: Verizon Wireless, Grand Computers, Subway, Marco’s Pizza, Ultra Tan, Bella Nails, Fuji Grill, Great Clips, and the center’s newest tenant Ship n Print Solutions who opened their 1,500 SF store in October of 2016. Ship n Print Solutions fulfills customers’ packing, shipping, copying, printing, notary, and business service needs of the residents and businesses of Lexington, SC.

The highly traveled intersection of Hwy 378 and Charter Oak Road sees over 22,000 cars per day collectively. Adjacent to Hendrix Crossing are Zaxby’s, Waffle House, Doctor’s Care, and Grow Financial Credit Union. All of these factors contribute to the overwhelming success the tenants at Hendrix Crossing enjoy. For businesses that are considering the city of Lexington as a potential location to open a store, the city’s growth record is quite bright. 24 Feb Why Everyone is Talking About Cornerstone Village Shopping Center In Cary

Centrex Properties’ Cornerstone Village Shopping Center in Cary is the new home of the first H Mart in North Carolina. H Mart is a grocery chain specializing in Korean and Asian foods and currently operates more than 40 stores in the US.

Residents across the Triangle are excited that H Mart chose Cornerstone in Cary for the location of their first ever North Carolina store, and are anxiously awaiting the store’s opening. The new grocer has started renovations to the 45,488 square foot former Lowes Foods space and is currently scheduled to open mid-2016.

But the excitement surrounding Cornerstone Village doesn’t stop there. The Shopping Center was also recently recognized as the “Triangle’s Top Retail Lease in 2015” by the Triangle Business Journal. CBRE/Raleigh assisted Centrex Properties in bringing H Mart to Cary with a 15-year lease, valued at $11M.

Cornerstone Village Shopping Center is located at the intersection of High House and Davis in Cary, and is also home to Rudino’s, Fantastic Sams, My Eye Doctor, and Sun Tan City, to name a few. Unfortunately, tenants who are anxious to join H Mart in the Shopping Center will have to get on the waiting list, as Cornerstone Village is currently fully leased.
